Kenya – the adventure continues!

I am sorry for the lack of blog post yesterday! I did write over 300 words, but managed to misplace them!

Hoefully you will have been seeing our photos on the special Connecting Classrooms page (see link further down blogs!) and I am very tired tonight so this will be a quick post!

All of us have been made very welcome by our host schools. Although on the surface our lives & schools may seem so different, we are finding more and more similarities every day. Yesterday was mainly about showing us around and discussions. Today was teaching! Ms Lee & I did some letter writing with a Grade 8 class, then we did 2 Maths lessons with different ages. The Kenyan children were very interested to hear about our Scottish children.

Tomorrow we are going on a Geography field trip. Who knows what animals we might see! Spiky the Highland cow will feature in lots of photos which I will post as soon as possible!
