Thanks very much to the Shaws and McInneses for inviting P1-7 and their families to their croft for an amazing stargazing evening. It was such a special evening and a great opportunity for the children to share everything they’ve been learning about space with their families. We had an amazing bonfire, delicious hot chocolate, and could see so many stars and planets we recognised!
I think Katy’s news diary says it all:
“On a magical night the stars arose from the night. I felt like it was hot in fact it was too hot it felt like I was in the fire. I smelt hot cocoa steaming into the night sky. I saw people, lots of people. I saw the fire in the heather. I tasted marshmallows they were just right. I tasted the hot chocolate it was also just right. Everything was the best.”
